Police: Man shot and robbed in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man was shot and injured after police said he was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night in Greensboro.

The victim told police he was walking in a parking lot in the 3000 block of West Avenue around 11 p.m. when two men approached him from a dark Sedan.

Police said one had a gun and demanded money. The other allegedly took items from the victim.

Police said the victim was shot in the “upper extremities” after trying to fight back. He was hospitalized for a non-life threatening injury.

The suspects are described as two black males wearing all black. One was reportedly about 5’8″ and the other about 6.’
