NEWARK, New Jersey – Whitney Houston’s former husband Bobby Brown has reportedly left her funeral, reports.

According to CNN, the R&B singer went inside the church, walked by Houston’s casket before going back up the aisle. He was not seated with Houston’s family and friends at the front of the church.

Rev. Al Sharpton tweeted before Brown’s departure (despite the pastor’s request to turn off cell phones) the following:

“I am at Whitney’s funeral. I spoke with Bobby Brown trying to calm him down and not distract from the services. Today is about Whitney!”

TMZ says Brown left right after the beginning of the service.
