GREENSBORO, N.C. -- As the first section of the Downtown Greensboro Greenway nears completion, plans for the next sections to be built were unveiled on Monday.

Action Greensboro sponsored an informal workshop showing off what Sections 1-B and 1-C might look like. Those sections would complete the southern portion of the greenway.

"We're just sharing with people their vision of what they're thinking about doing and getting some feedback and comments so that they'll be prepared when they come back in April to do the work," said Dabney Sanders, project manager.

Action Greensboro officials said the four-mile path should be completed by 2016 or so.
