BURLINGTON, N.C. — A third suspect was arrested Thursday after an apartment robbery left a 21-year-old woman dead Saturday night in Burlington.

Keith Antonio Graves, 23, of Burlington, faces a first degree murder charge for his alleged involvement in the death of Brittany Jernigan.

Police said Jernigan was shot and killed after two suspects entered a home in the 1400 block of Stout Street around 6 p.m. and tried robbing her.

Two other suspects were arrested this week and charged in the crime. Brett Allen Cole, 22, turned himself into police and Andrew Napoleon Brown, 23, was arrested Wednesday, police said.

All three were placed in the Alamance County Jail without bond.

Other details were not released. The investigation is ongoing.
