Police: Rockingham Co. Man stole $237K worth of electronics

REIDSVILLE, N.C. — A man accused of stealing more than a quarter million dollars worth of electronics from a Reidsville business last year was indicted Thursday.

Toby Sean Dishmon, 36, of Ruffin, allegedly took the items — valued at $237,186.91 — from Schewel Furniture at 1635 Freeway Drive.

Police said Dishmon worked there. Police did not say when he is alleged to have stolen the items. Authorities said an investigation started Sept. 29, 2011.

Police said Dishmon turned himself into Det. Sgt. Dean Cook of the Reidsville Police Department.

He received a $25,000 unsecured bond and has court on March 12 in Rockingham County.
