Several counterfeit $20 bills spotted near Rural Hall

FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — Officials in Rural Hall are warning residents and businesses to be careful when accepting currency over $20 bills.

Officer Mike Burroughs said counterfeit $20 bills have been spotted around town and throughout parts of Forsyth County.

Police said to report any suspicious bills to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office. You can reach them at 336-727-2112.
