Third Suspect Arrested in Greensboro College Security Guard’s Death

A third suspect was arrested in the murder of a Greensboro College security guard killed last year in Greensboro.

Rashun Jacquall Cody,18, of Greensboro, was taken into custody Wednesday morning by the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force and the Durham Police Department.

Christopher Mason, 28, was found dead outside his home in the 300 block of Charles Street on Christmas Eve.

Cody was arrested on Hillsborough Road in Durham and charged with first degree murder and first degree burglary.

U.S. Marshals took him to Greensboro and placed him in the Guilford County Jail under no bond.

Two other men were charged in January in connection to Mason’s death.

Fredrick Lamar Dee, 28, of Gastonia, and Lemiah Wyite Sanders, 18, of Greensboro, remain in the Guilford County Jail without bond.
