Burlington PD: Woman Stabs Father With Knife

A woman was arrested after police said she stabbed her father with a knife Monday night in Burlington.

Zhane Rochel Curry (no age or address provided), allegedly assaulted Glenn Stephens, 49, at 424 Hyde St. around 10:30 p.m. during an argument.

Stephens was taken to Alamance Regional Medical Center where he was treated and released for several lacerations to his head and hands, police said.

Curry was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and placed in the Alamance County Jail under a $5,000 secured bond.

No other injuries were reported. Other details were not released.
