GREENSBORO, N.C. — Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band announced the launch of their international tour on Tuesday, and Greensboro will be the only concert stop in the Carolinas and Virginia.

The Greensboro Coliseum will be Springsteen’s second performance in his 2012 ‘Wrecking Ball’ World Tour, which will start in Atlanta, GA on March 18.

Tickets for the Greensboro concert, which is scheduled for March 19, will go on sale starting Friday, Feb. 3.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Coliseum box office or through Ticketmaster — either online or by phone (1-800-745-300).

The name of the tour matches Springsteen’s upcoming album, which will be released through Columbia Record on March 6.  The album’s first single is titled “We Take Care Of Our Own.”

In total, there are 20 U.S. concerts planned for Springsteen’s tour.  For more information, visit brucespringsteen.net.
