Shot fired during convenience store robbery in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Two suspects are wanted after a shot was fired inside a Greensboro convenience store during a Wednesday night robbery.

The incident happened around 8:05 p.m. at the Sunoco on East Bessemer Avenue.

The store clerk told Greensboro Police two men with covered faces entered the business. One of the suspects was armed, and he demanded money at gunpoint, police said.

Before the suspects left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, the armed suspect fired a round inside the store, police said. No injuries were reported.

Both suspects were described as black males. One of the suspects wore a white T-shirt with a stripe on the front and back. No other descriptions were available, police said.
