BURLINGTON, N.C. — Four people were arrested on various drug charges Thursday morning after an investigation at a Burlington home.

Burlington Police arrested Dominique O’Neal Harvey, 20, of Burlington; Barbara Ann Harvey, 41, of Burlington; Dwight Logan Poteat, 29, of Burlington and Camill Lavon Long, 18, of Mebane.

The arrests came as officers executed a search warrant around 8:45 a.m. Thursday at a home on Fulton Street. Police said they had received complaints about illegal drug sales at the home.

When officers arrived, Harvey fled on foot and was later arrested at a residence on Sharpe Road, police said.

Dominique Harvey was charged with felony possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest. He was given a $2,500 secured bond.

Barbara Harvey and Poteat were both charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and simple possession of marijuana. Both were given $10,000 secured bonds.

Long was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and released on a written promise to appear in court.

Animal Control also picked up a dog inside the home after it bit an investigator, police said. The officer sustained minor injuries. Police identified the dog as a pit bull.
