REIDSVILLE, N.C. — A man was arrested after deputies said he broke into a car parked in his own driveway Wednesday night in Reidsville.
Joe Marcel Harrison, 19, of Reidsville, allegedly took items from a 1991 Honda Civic owned by a 20-year-old Greensboro woman visiting him.
Deputies said he took a laptop computer, pocketbook and a DVD player at about 8:20 p.m. at his home at 727 Candy Creek Road.
Harrison has been charged with felonious breaking and entering a motor vehicle, conspiracy to commit a felony, misdemeanor larceny and misdemeanor damage to personal property.
He received a $25,000 secured bond and was placed in the Rockingham County Jail. He has a Dec. 28 court appearance.
Deputies said more arrests are expected. Further details were not provided.
