Suspect sought in Stoneville armed robbery

STONEVILLE, N.C. (WGHP)— Police are looking for a suspect after a convenience store was robbed at gunpoint Saturday night in Stoneville.

The incident happened at Two Brothers Food Market at 6338 NC 770 at about 11:13 p.m.

Witnesses say a man entered with a shotgun, demanding money and Newport cigarettes.

Police say the clerk cooperated and no injuries were reported. Police provided several surveillance images of the suspect.

He is described as a black male, about 6′ and weighing 230-240 pounds. The suspect wore a ski mask and dark clothing.
