Dollar General store robbed in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP)— Police are searching for a man who robbed a Dollar General store Sunday evening in Greensboro.

Police said the suspect entered the store at 2909 Pleasant Garden Road around 7:30 p.m. and demanded money while indicating that he was armed with a handgun. The suspect ran away after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The suspect was described as a black male in his 30s standing 6′ tall and weighing about 230 lbs. He was wearing a blue sweater with grey pants at the time of the robbery.

No other details were available. Anyone with further information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 373-1000.
