    Greensboro police investigating shooting into occupied dwelling

    GREENSBORO, N.C. — Officers responded to a home Thursday shortly before 10 p.m. in reference to an assault call. Upon arrival to a residence in the 1200 block of Caldwell Street, officers spoke to the victim. The victim said he was in the home when several rounds were fired at the residence. The victim was not injured. Police do not have any suspects at this point and an investigation is ongoing.

    FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police are investigating a serious crash involving three cars that left three people dead and injured another, WTVD reports. The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. in the 3500 block of Murchison Road. The road was closed following the accident. It is unclear as of yet on what caused the accident.     ORANGEBURG, S.C. — A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a 14-month-old child who died last month. According to WCBD, Orangeburg County deputies responded to a home on June 27 on a report of an unresponsive child.     Body found behind shopping center in Greensboro identified

    GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police have identified the man found deceased behind the Palmer Plaza shopping center Tuesday morning. The body of 54-year-old Frank Nevin Strosaker was found by a passerby around 11:38 a.m. Tuesday. A preliminary report from the State Medical Examiner’s Office indicates he died of natural causes. Strosaker was homeless.
