    THOMASVILLE, N.C. – A man’s death is being investigated as a homicide after he was found with a fatal gunshot wound in Thomasville Tuesday afternoon.     GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are investigating after a body was found behind a shopping center on Yanceyville Street in Greensboro Tuesday. The body of an unknown man was found by a passerby around 11:38 a.m. behind Palmer Plaza. The man has not yet been identified.     GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are looking for a 26-year-old man in connection with Friday’s shooting at Timber Hollow Apartments. The shooting left one man dead and another seriously injured.     Family of five escapes house fire in Winston-Salem

    WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Crews battled a house fire in Winston-Salem early Friday morning. The call came in at 3:56 a.m. about a fire at 3672 Cheshire Woods Drive. Five people were in the house at the time and all escaped safely. Officials say the fire appears to have started in the attic. No cause has been determined.
