When I’m not working, I spend the majority of my time exercising, reading, playing games and relaxing with friends. I also love basketball and enjoy riding motorcycles (in the right weather).

    GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police say a man is dead and a woman is listed in critical condition after an apparent domestic violence incident early Thursday outside a Greensboro apartment complex. Police received multiple 911 calls shortly after 7:45 a.m. concerning gunshots being fired outside the Steeplechase Apartments complex at 1404 Adams Farm Parkway.   • High Point men arrested on heroin charges after police chase

    THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Police say three men from High Point were arrested on drug charges after a vehicle chase that began Thomasville. According to the Thomasville police, undercover officers had arranged a heroin delivery in the area of Council Street and Culbreth Avenue on Thursday night before they tried stopping the suspect vehicle — a 1998 Honda Accord.   • School bus involved in crash on Guilford College Rd

    GREENSBORO, N.C. — Officials say a school bus was involved in an accident Friday morning on Guilford College Road. Guilford County Schools spokeswoman Nora Carr says no students were on board the bus, which struck the back of a car that had stopped for a garbage truck shortly before 9 a.m. No injuries were reported, Carr said.   • Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Greensboro

    GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police say a man was struck by a vehicle Thursday morning in Greensboro. The crash was reported shortly before 6:45 a.m. on Hilltop Road between Sellers Avenue and High Point Road. Police say the person who was hit was a homeless man who was pushing a shopping cart.     AKRON, Ohio — Should a 10-year-old Amish girl be forced to get chemotherapy so she has better odds of surviving cancer?     DENVER, Colo. — A woman lost her finger to a rhinoceros at the Denver Zoo during an animal feeding session for visitors.     GREENSBORO, N.C. — Kernodle Middle School in Greensboro is honoring two of its students who died over the past year with a new campus fixture.
