Police investigating after 2 shot in Greensboro neighborhood

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Police are investigating after two people were shot in Greensboro Tuesday evening.

According to Greensboro police, the shooting was reported at 5:40 p.m. in the 200 block of Ray Street.

Both victims were taken to the hospital.

There is no word on what led up to the shooting or the conditions of the victims.

A neighbor said he woke up to the gunshots and found both of his vehicles damaged by gunfire.

Greensboro police have not named any suspects.
