UNCG defeats East Tennessee State to win SoCon Championship; will play in NCAA Tournament

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — The University of North Carolina at Greensboro men’s basketball team defeated East Tennessee State 62-47 Monday night to win the Southern Conference Championship.

With the win, the Spartans will now play in the NCAA Tournament.

This is the first time UNCG has made the NCAA Tournament since 2001.
