Shooting in Pennsylvania leaves 4 dead; suspected shooter not expected to survive injuries

FAYETTE COUNTY, Penn. – Four people are dead after a shooting at a car wash early Sunday morning in Pennsylvania and the shooting is not expected to survive.

WTAE reported that it happened at a self-serve car wash in Melcroft shortly before 3 a.m.

The victims have been identified as William Porterfield, 27; Chelsie Cline, 25; Courtney Snyder, 23; and Seth Cline, 21.

The suspect has been identified as 28-year-old Timothy Smith, who has been hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the head. Authorities said his gunshot wound may have been self-inflicted.

One woman survived the shooting. Officials said she was able to duck down and stay out of the suspect’s view.
