2 window washers rescued from scaffolding on side on New York City building

NEW YORK – Emergency workers have pulled two window washers to safety after they were stuck on scaffolding on the side of a New York City building.

CBS New York reported that it happened about 35 stories in the air Monday on a building near the intersection of 54th Street and 3rd Avenue.

The workers have been safely pulled through a window after emergency crews lowered down a safety harness.
