2 people shot, injured in High Point

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Two people were shot Friday afternoon in northeast High Point, according to High Point police Capt. Mike Kirk.

The shooting was reported at 1:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Oberlin Drive.

A witness said there was a man, woman and baby in a car that is now covered with bullet holes.

The witness then saw the woman run into a house with the baby.

There is no word on suspects or the conditions of the two victims.
