Vehicle overturns in High Point, driver detained on suspicion of DWI

HIGH POINT, N.C. – A driver was detained on suspicion of DWI after a vehicle overturned in High Point on Sunday.

The incident happened at about 4:30 p.m. in the 2400 block of East Lexington Avenue and resulted in minor injuries to three passengers, according to authorities.

Speed, alcohol and wet conditions appear to be factors. The driver has been detained on suspicion of DWI.
