Family displaced after 2-alarm fire in Kernersville

KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — Crews responded to a 2-alarm fire at a Kernersville home early Monday morning.

At about 12:30 a.m., more than four fire departments responded to the fire at 5804 Stanley Farm Ct.

The family was at the home during the blaze, but everyone made it out safely.

As of Monday morning, the cause of the fire is unknown, but the family believes it started on the back porch, where there were four propane tanks.

No injuries were reported and the investigation is ongoing.
