2 accused of shooting into occupied vehicle, injuring 1 in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting into an occupied vehicle where a victim was injured, according to a news release from Winston-Salem police.

Jesus David Trinidad-Bruno, 19, of Winston-Salem, and Jonathan Claude French, 21, are each charged with discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle.

On Nov. 20, Winston-Salem officers responded to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center where a victim was being treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the shoulder.

On Nov. 30, Trinidad-Bruno was taken into custody. He is currently confined in the Forsyth County Detention Center with no bond allowed.

On Tuesday, French was taken into custody. His bond has not been set yet.
