Greensboro man who police found in vehicle crash with gunshot wound dies

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Greensboro man who police found suffering from a gunshot wound in his vehicle after a single-car crash Wednesday night has died, according to a press release.

At 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to Garrett Street at Freeman Mill Road on a report of a single-vehicle collision.

Upon arrival, officers discovered 23-year-old Kavon Jamre’ Floyd suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.

An autopsy will be conducted and the investigation is ongoing.
