ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — A woman is accused of embezzling funds from an Alamance County veterinary office.

Stephanie Redding Pfeiffer, of Graham, is charged with embezzlement, according to a news release from the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office.

On July 15, 2015, representatives of Tri-County Veterinarian Services filed a report with The Alamance County Sheriff’s Office, the release said. They had discovered some irregularities in their finance records and believed that an employee may have misallocated some of the business’ funds.

The investigation indicated a financial loss allegedly in excess of $50,000, the release said.

A warrant was issued for Pfeiffer, a former employee, and was served in Guilford County Wednesday.

No bond or court date information was released.
