Greensboro police respond to vehicle accident, find driver with life-threatening gunshot wound

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police responded to a vehicle accident and found the driver suffering from a gunshot wound, according to a news release from the Greensboro Police Department.

At 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to Garrett Street at Freeman Mill Road on a report of a single-vehicle collision.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the driver was suffering from a gunshot wound.

The driver was transported to a local hospital by EMS with life-threatening injuries.

No information has been released regarding a suspect.
