1 seriously injured in shooting at Greensboro gas station

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are investigating after one person was shot and seriously injured at a Greensboro gas station Sunday night, according to a release.

Police responded to 709 McPherson Street around 9:14 p.m. in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound and he was taken to the hospital to be treated.

An initial investigation revealed the victim was shot at the Sunoco at 2209 E. Bessemer Avenue.

No additional was available and the investigation is ongoing.
