WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – A woman is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle following an argument in her front yard, according to Winston-Salem police.

Shequoina Henry, 30, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after the incident was reported shortly after 12 a.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of Patrick Avenue.

The victim and the suspect had been in an argument and the suspect hit her with a vehicle, Winston-Salem police said in a press release. Police said the suspect and victim knew each other.

The victim is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, according to police.
