Police looking for two men accused of robbing Winston-Salem business at gunpoint

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Police are looking for two men accused of robbing a Winston-Salem business at gunpoint and throwing the employees to the ground.

Winston-Salem police said officers responded to the Camp Smoke Shop at 1503 Waughtown St. shortly after 8 p.m. Friday in reference to the incident.

The store owner and two employees were preparing to close when two men entered with guns, police said in a press release.

Police said the employees were thrown to the ground and one of the suspects said, “You know what this is!”

The suspects took money from the cash registers and from the employees and left, police said. No injuries were reported.

As the suspects were leaving, one of them allegedly fired a gun inside the store.
