Homicide investigation underway after man found dead in High Point home
HIGH POINT, N.C. — A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found dead in his home Monday, according to a news release from High Point police.
Officers responded to East Gate Village Condominiums, located at 302 Ardale Drive, at 8:45 a.m. Monday.
According to police, a family member found the body of 38-year-old Cerrick Anderson in his home.
An autopsy was completed Wednesday and the cause of death was determined to be a single gunshot wound to the head.
This is High Point’s seventh homicide of 2016.
