4 arrested following 2 drug busts in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Four people have been arrested following two large drug busts in Winston-Salem, according to a news release from Winston-Salem police.

Marco Antonio Sandoval Astorga, 34, of Winston-Salem; Fabrizio Aboite Cruz, 31, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Eunice Galvan Hernandez, 28, of Winston-Salem; and Shun Lamont Gibbs, 47, of Winston-Salem, face multiple drug charges.

During the month of November, Winston-Salem police began investigating allegations that illegal narcotics were being sold and distributed from 233 Bond St., the release said.

On Nov. 3, officers executed a search warrant and seized 3.64 grams of marijuana, 30.6 grams of crack cocaine, nine grams of crystal methamphetamine and 86.6 grams of black tar heroin.

The investigation led officers to execute a second search warrant at 234 Styers Road, the release said. The items seized at this location were 1.68 grams of marijuana, 3,075 grams of crystal methamphetamine and an AK-47-style assault rifle.

The investigation yielded $800,000 in illegal narcotics.
