BOULDER, Colo. — There’s no doubt people are invested in this election.

When a Colorado woman went into labor Friday morning, she made sure the baby left her time to vote.

Sasha Adelstein and Max Brandel packed for the hospital but decided to make a quick stop at the Boulder County Clerk and Recorder’s Office to first drop off their ballots, according to the Daily Camera.

Before leaving, the couple took a photo at the selfie station. In the photo, Adelstein’s eyes are closed and she’s obviously in pain.

“We always encourage voting by any means and certainly encourage your ballot in as soon as possible,” she said. “This is a great reason to vote early if you are in labor.”

The couple said they voted for Hillary Clinton.
