Man, woman in Rockingham Co. arrested after $82k worth of marijuana seized from home
STONEVILLE, N.C. — A man and woman from Rockingham County were arrested after deputies said about $82,000 worth of marijuana was found in their home.
Amy Hung Chan, 38 and Brandon Ferrell Hardison, 36, both of 2325 N.C. Hwy 135 in Stoneville, face charges in connection to the incident.
The suspects face charges of felonious manufacture marijuana and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release that 82 marijuana plants valued at about $82,000 were seized from their home by sheriff’s investigators and agents from the Greensboro D.E.A. and Raleigh D.E.A.
Chan was jailed under a $2,500 secured bond and Hardison under a $5,000 secured bond. Both have court planned for Nov. 22.
