Man, 25, dies after shooting in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. – A 25-year-old Greensboro man has died after a shooting on Tuesday, according to Greensboro police.

Victor Lamont Hairston has succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital, the Greensboro Police Department said in a press release.

Police responded to Luray Drive and West Florida Street shortly before 5 p.m. in reference to a shooting.

Arriving officers found the victim who was taken to a hospital with a serious injury.

The investigation is ongoing and an autopsy will be conducted, according to Greensboro police.
