Undisposed coals cause house fire in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Wendover Avenue eastbound at Magnolia Street had been blocked as crews fought a house fire in Greensboro on Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to the scene at 1029 Olive St. shortly after 10 a.m. in reference to the incident.

The home was evacuated and nobody was hurt. The fire started after coals were not properly disposed, according to officials.

Greensboro police, firefighters and emergency workers responded to the fire.
