WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Nobody was hurt after a house fire caused by unattended food in Winston-Salem on Saturday.

The incident was reported at about 2:30 p.m. on Capistrano Drive near Crestview Drive, according to authorities. Nobody was home at the time.

The Winston-Salem Fire Department and Forsyth County emergency workers responded to the fire. The home is said to be a total loss.
