WOODRUFF, S.C. — A body found on the South Carolina property of Todd Kohlhepp where missing woman Kala Brown was found has been identified as her boyfriend Charles Carver, officials told ABC News.

Carver’s body was found Friday on the same property where deputies discovered 30-year-old Brown “chained liked a dog” inside a large metal container.

Brown was discovered after deputies heard her banging on the walls, according to WYFF. Authorities believe she had been kept in the container for the last two months.

Brown said she had been chained by the neck inside the container, and said she was given food regularly.

She went missing with her boyfriend, 32-year-old Carver, also of Anderson County.

Police arrested 45-year-old Todd Kohlhepp, the registered owner of the Wofford Road property where Brown was found, and took him to a nearby detention center.

Kohlhepp, a registered sex offender, was convicted of a kidnapping in Arizona when he was 16 years old, according to South Carolina officials.
