Burlington police looking for 3 men who assaulted delivery driver, stole his pizza

BURLINGTON, N.C. — The Burlington Police Department is searching for three men who assaulted a Domino’s Pizza delivery driver and stole his pizza Thursday night, according to a press release.

At about 10:08 p.m., officers responded to Domino’s Pizza at 2447 N. Church Street in reference to a robbery. Upon arrival, they determined that the robbery occurred in the 200 block of James Street.

When the driver got out of his vehicle, three suspects were waiting for him in the driveway and they assaulted him before stealing his delivery order. Police K-9 attempted to track the suspects but no one was located.

The driver received non-life-threatening injuries and the investigation is ongoing.
