QUEENS, N.Y. — He can barely walk, but speeding seems to be no issue.

Mother Jessica Boiardi and her 9-month-old son Benjamin were out shopping for Halloween candy on Sunday when she saw a New York City police officer and thought a fake speeding ticket would be a cute first picture for her son’s first birthday.

She approached the officer and he gladly agreed to the photo.

“They’re nice guys. They have families. He was so friendly and nice to Ben and me and my husband, wonderful exchange,” she said.

Boiardi hopes Benjamin will hold a great relationship with police throughout his life and wants to use the photo as a reminder to always drive safely.
