LEBANON, Ohio — Police arrested the man they say is responsible for dumping a massive pile of manure outside the Democratic Party headquarters in Warren, Ohio Saturday morning.

James Pinell, 47, claimed responsibility for the incident and said he “didn’t care” if he got caught.

He was charged with one count of criminal mischief, which is punishable by up to 60 days in jail, according to Cincinnati.com.

Party chair Bethe Goldenfield took to Facebook Saturday afternoon, publishing a picture of the manure with a caption asking for answers.

“2016 manure incident at Warren County Democratic Party HQ,” she said. “What reasonable person thinks this is OK???? (This also happened in 2012.)
#TheyGoLowWeGoHigh and are more than ever focused on #GOTV.”

Pinell said he dumped the manure in protest of a Hillary Clinton presidency, stating he is a “hardcore” Republican.

The incident comes several weeks after the Republican Party headquarters in Hillsborough, North Carolina was vandalized with graffiti and damaged with a flammable material.
