HIGH POINT, N.C. -- A lot of people may be stressed by the upcoming election, but one local designer decided to have a little fun with it at the High Point Furniture Market last week.

Thom Filicia held a parody presidential parade followed by a "Thom for President" party.

Drumlines from Andrews and Southwest Guilford high schools took part as well as High Point's mayor.

Filicia's campaign slogans included "Style: Don't leave home without it" and "A change in bedding we can all believe in."
