2 arrested in Kernersville BB gun shooting

KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — Two people have been arrested in connection with a BB gun shooting last week, according to a news release from Kernersville police.

Dante Xavier Calderon, 21, of Winston-Salem, is charged with assault inflicting serious injury.

Eduardo Gorjon, 20, of Winston-Salem, is charged with aiding and abetting assault inflicting serious injury, driving while license revoked, possession of marijuana and possession of an open container of alcohol.

Last Monday, Kernerville police responded to a reported shooting in the 700 block of Glenn Street. Officers discovered a victim had been shot with a BB gun.

On Monday, Calderon and Gorjon were taken into custody.

Calderon was placed under a $2,500 secured bond.

Gorjon was placed under a $5,000 secured bond.
