RALEIGH, N.C. – Some unexpected guests showed up to the North Carolina State football game on Saturday.
Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence and Governor Pat McCrory took photos with football fans and signed autographs at Carter-Finley Stadium.
It was an unexpected stop for Pence, who then headed to Jacksonville, near the coast, in Onslow County.
Actor Will Ferrell also added some star power to Hillary Clinton’s campaign when he joined Roy Cooper in different parts of the state.
Ferrell also shocked crowds when he showed up to the Wolfpack’s tailgate – and again when he knocked on doors in Durham.
Before campaigning for Clinton, Ferrell had been a Bernie Sanders supporter.
N.C. State went on to lose 21-14 to Boston College.
