Man dies after motorcycle crash in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. – A man has died after he crashed a motorcycle into a parked car, according to Greensboro police.

Anthony Rashawn Chapman, 25, suffered life threatening injuries and was taken to Moses Cone Hospital where he died.

Greensboro police said it happened at about 11:12 p.m. Friday as the victim was driving westbound on East Bragg Street.

Chapman failed to maintain control of his motorcycle and hit a parked 2003 Chevrolet Impala in front of 723 East Bragg St., according to police.

The collision is currently being investigated by the Greensboro Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit. No charges are currently pending.

It has been seven days since the last fatal collision in Greensboro, police said in a press release.
