THOMASVILLE, N.C. – Police have arrested a man accused of robbing a Thomasville convenience store with a knife.

Flem Junior Crum, 37, of Thomasville, has been arrested and charged with armed robbery in connection to the incident.

Thomasville police said in a press release that officers responded to Andy’s Mart at 816 Randolph St. on Friday in reference to the crime.

The clerk said the suspect entered and presented a note, demanding money. The suspect then allegedly pulled out a knife and took money from behind the counter.

Officers identified the suspect from looking at surveillance video and he was later arrested while walking on US-29/70. He was jailed under a $75,000 bond.
