Greensboro selected as finalist to receive $25,000 grant to fill storefronts with local student’s art

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro has been selected as a top 200 finalist out of 2,000 cities for a $25,000 grant from State Farm.

The city is vying for the grant to create a downtown art walk — filling empty storefronts with art from local students.

But the city needs help to make it happen.

Interested parties can vote up to ten times a day until next Friday.
