Man shot multiple times in yard in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A man was shot multiple times in Winston-Salem on Wednesday evening, according to a news release from the Winston-Salem Police Department.

At 6:21 p.m., officers responded to the 2400 block of Caledonia Drive after a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a man who had been shot multiple times in the front yard of a residence.

The victim was transported to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Winston-Salem police said they do not believe this was a random act, according to the release.
