Halloween means candy and sweets can be horrible for children's teeth.

FOX8's Melissa Painter and Cindy Farmer compiled a list of the worst candies:

  • Chewy and sticky candies such as taffy and gummy bears
  • Sour candy
  • Candy corn
  • Popcorn balls

Here's a list of candy not bad for your children's teeth:

  • Sugar-free lollipops
  • Chocolate
  • Sugar-free gum
